3.5 Category A CEUs

This one day practical course will focus on the therapist's ability to assess and treat whiplash and other common cervical dysfunctions like z-joint stiffness. Techniques will be focused on postural, biomechanical and muscle imbalances causing neck pain and headaches. Specific stretching of the neck z-joints and surrounding muscles will be taught in detail. Evidence-based cervical stability exercises, strengthening and postural exercises will be demonstrated. This course is designed so that the therapist's clinical reasoning skills will be challenged, and the knowledge gained will be easy for the therapist to apply to clinical practice right away.

This 3-hour workshop is designed to exceed the required training under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The program will enable you to comfortably and confidently communicate and interact with people with all types of disabilities. In turn, your reputation and community profile will benefit.

Each participant will receive a certificate of completion, to be displayed as proof that your AODA training requirements have been met, and as a powerful marketing tool. All participants will also receive an easy-to-complete Accessible Customer Service Policies, Practices and Procedures template to be registered with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario and make available to the public.
