The Board of Directors of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO) would like to inform you of a change in leadership. Michael Feraday is no longer Executive Director and CEO of the RMTAO.
The Board would like to express our sincere gratitude to Michael for his significant impact on the association. As our longest-serving Executive Director and CEO, Michael’s dedication has been instrumental in our growth.
We are particularly grateful for his leadership in navigating the RMTAO through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and his success in introducing the Pilot Project. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours.
To ensure the continued smooth operation of the association and uninterrupted support for our members, the Board has appointed Kat Orr as Acting Executive Director and CEO, effective immediately.
We have full confidence in Kat’s leadership and the expertise of our existing staff to maintain the high standard of advocacy and service you expect from the RMTAO. The Board of Directors will be initiating a formal search for a permanent Executive Director and CEO in the near future.
We are committed to finding a leader who will build upon our current successes and maintain the RMTAO’s position as the leading advocate for RMTs across the province. Our focus remains steadfast on supporting our members and providing the high-quality advocacy you expect from your professional association.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to strengthen the massage therapy profession in Ontario.
Sincerely,
The RMTAO Board of Directors
