During this two-day course, you will learn advanced manual therapy techniques and

approaches for the treatment and management of Concussions & Post Concussion Symptoms.

 

In person October 24-25th, 2026; 10am to 4pm

$900 + HST (after September 23rd)

Participants will receive:

  • Evidence-informed and patient-centric learning
  • Coaching during the course on assessment techniques, assessment findings, and manual therapy techniques from the instructor(s)
  • A focus on hands-on learning and exchanges with various course participants
  • Guidance on developing therapeutic analytical skills pertaining to concussions and post concussion symptoms
  • Advanced assessments for concussion rehabilitation
  • Approaches for evidence-based pacing, strategies and symptom management techniques
  • Opportunities to explore multiple case studies.
  • Exploration and confidence building in treating and managing concussions as a manual therapist
  • Direct contact to the instructor for any post course questions or for patient case inquires

About the Presenter:

Janelle Beatty, RMT, CCAMA, Certified Pilates Instructor & Certified Pilates Therapist

Janelle graduated with honours from Mohawk College in 2016 with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy. She is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), is a member of the RMTAO, and completed the McMaster University Medical Acupuncture Program through the CCAMA.

She has developed a strong clinical focus on jaw, neck, and head conditions, supported by extensive advanced training in concussion assessment and rehabilitation. Having personally experienced multiple concussions, Janelle brings a nuanced understanding of the physical, cognitive, and emotional complexities of recovery. This lived insight strengthens her empathy, sharpens clinical decision-making, and helps her recognize subtle symptom patterns. She integrates evidence-informed strategies, individualized pacing, and interdisciplinary coordination to provide effective, patient-centred care.

As a Certified Pilates Instructor & Certified Pilates Therapist, she incorporates movement education, and functional rehabilitation into treatment.
